About Us

Chapel Hill is an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church.

The word “independent” means the church patterns itself after the New Testament example and stands alone under the authority of the scriptures.

The word “Fundamental” means the Baptist church uses the New Testament strictly as its authority for faith (doctrine) and practice. However, we do not ignore the Old Testament, as it is there for our learning as well.

Chapel Hill currently offers an adult Sunday school class on Sunday mornings at 10 AM.

We offer services at 11 AM and 6PM on Sundays, and at 5 PM on Wednesday nights with dinner from 5-6pm and Prayer Service starting at 6pm.

We also have an additional Bible study led by brother Jerry Tuck on Tuesdays at 7 PM.

We love the classics and believe that there is still a place for their honesty and simplicity in today’s contemporary Christian world. Sometimes there is nothing else like “Amazing Grace” or “I’ll Fly Away” to convey our thankfulness to God and prepare the congregation for the teaching of God’s Word.

In addition to our sanctuary, we have a fellowship hall in the back and we have expanded to a separate education building for our classes & special events.

We are definitely not a large mega-church. We pride ourselves on being a smaller, country church. But as we grow we will expand to meet the congregation’s needs while keeping the closeness of a smaller congregation.
