Today the LORD sent the rain that we needed, it is another blessing among all those we have already received. I woke this morning at 5 am, I got up knelt by bed and prayed, then I just had a long talk with our Father. What a wonderful way to start the day.
I believe there is a new awakening going on in America, Chapel Hill now has over 350 friends on Face Book, our goal is over a 1000, tell some of you friends to join us. I’m seeing more and more people talking about Jesus, people praying more, asking God to intervene and save millions for this virus. Let’s all continue to pray and talk with our Father.
Lots of things have changed over the last two months, and we must change with these times. That old song “times they are a changing” is so true. I have seen communications from people in different parts of the world, they have no medicine, no food, and their hope is weakening, they say where will help come.
Psalm 121
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
People think we have it bad here in America, it’s bad but not as bad as other places in the world. People complain about food, and our pantry and freezers are full, while people are starving. People complain about toilet paper, and people have no medicine. People complain they can’t go and sit in church, while others have not church, no house of God, and no preacher to preach. Let us be thankful for the mercies of God that we have, and lets pray for those who have little or nothing.
It is time to reflect, I have preached many times that we need to slow down and get our priorities straight. Well as can attest to times have slowed down, we have been made to slow down. It is really time to really find out what is important in our lives. Something like this virus makes us understand just how precious life is, not only ours but all of those around us. Love and forgiveness go hand in hand.
Think about where you were in life when the hand of God touched you, saved you, and forgave you. Did He say go and clean yourself up and then come to Me, NO, He said come as you are and I will make you clean. Let’s not point the finger at others, remember there are four fingers pointing back at you. I have never said to forget, but I have said to forgive, just think where you might be today, had you not been forgiven.
Romans 14: 10-14
Love worketh no ill, to his neighbor there fore love is the fulfilling of the law. and that knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand, let us there fore cast off the works of darkness and let us put on the Armour of light. Let us walk honestly as in the day: not in rioting and drunkenness not in cambering and wantonness not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provisions for the flesh to fulfill the lusts thereof.
Have a wonderful day, make the most of it. Be safe, pick up the phone and talk to someone. Tell someone you love them, tell someone about Jesus and what He did for you.
I pray you have peace, God Bless
I love you, God loves you so much more
